"L’artiste" is a deconstructed form of me as self-portrait representing the complexity of the different facets of the symbol “Artist “. This first version was painted approximately in 1979 in France (oil) and showed the rudeness and inexperienced side of the artist (chaotic hand). A second version named "The Artist" painted in 1992 shows the sensibility side of the artist behind a hand with elegance.
